Hunter Gatherers As A Business Model?

The ultimate health hack, news on a health victory, and our unique hero of the week.

Good morning healthy friends,

⚠️ Warning: The following might trigger you if you are an archaeologist.

Plot twist:

Hunter-gatherers are more advanced than societies with agriculture.

Shaun

The food is certainly of higher quality. We will share more about this in the Healthy Hero section where we highlight one of the coolest companies on Earth.

Here is what we will cover today:

  • 🙈 How to (un)Hack Your Health

  • 🦹‍♂️ The fall of W.H.O.?

  • 💡 Hunter-Gatherers as a business model

Hack Your Health convention took place in Austin, TX last week. Chris and I were invited as keynote speakers, but were uninvited when we told them our philosophy of ‘hacking your health.’

I know this is ironic for us to say this given we have animals as our alias, but…

Our philosophy: be more human.

This means being healthy is very simple and intuitive. It does not require any hacking or extra money but rather cutting most of that out.

It’s quite simple: Stop eating fake food, stop hiding from the sun, and stop sitting in a chair all day.

Here is how to truly “HACK YOUR HEALTH”

  1. 🥑 Eat real foods like a human being (supplements, protein powders, bars, etc. are not real food even if they say they are “healthy”)

  2. ☀️ Spend time in the Sun WITHOUT sunscreen - Vitamin D is essential for bone health, immune function, muscle strength, cardiovascular health, and overall well-being. It helps prevent chronic diseases, improves mental health, and supports metabolic processes. If you need to, start with early morning and late afternoon sun.

  3. 🕺 Move yo body - movement pumps the heart and promotes blood flow which distributes all the nutrients from the real food and Vitamin D from the sun throughout the entire body

If you do these three things, you will be ~ 90.36% healthier.

Note: Notice how 2 out of 3 of our suggestions are entirely free. If you only eat food that comes from nature, you will save money too. Even better, you can grow it yourself and it is also free!

Sub-note: Chris and Shaun were never invited as keynote speakers but they missed out!

Many did not know about this, but over the past two years, the World Health Organization attempted to pass The Pandemic Treaty.

The proposed radical changes would transform the WHO from an international institution with advisory functions into an agency issuing decisions binding on all Member States.

Lurie Roșca, Member of Parliament for four terms (1994-2009), Journalist

If passed, the Treaty would give WHO significant power over 194 nations, including the U.S., in the case of another Pandemic. The power would include or lead to things like increased surveillance, vaccine passports, and more.

Fortunately for the sovereignty of the U.S. and the world, on May 24, 2024, the negotiations for the draft were shut down.

To better understand this week’s Healthy Hero, we asked ChatGPT a very important question:

It is commonly understood that agriculture is the first sign of advanced civilizations. But recently, we have seen models that better match nature such as regenerative farming and wild hunting that seem to be showing otherwise.

It is reasonable to ask:

What if hunter-gatherers had it right all along?

Whether directly or indirectly, this is what our healthy hero of the week is proving. Shoutout to Maui Nui, the provider of ‘the healthiest red meat on the planet.’

Hunter-Gatherers as a Business Model?

Founded by Jake and Ku’ulani Muise in 2015, Maui Nui’s mission is to help manage the invasive Axis deer population on the Hawaiian islands by humanly harvesting and distributing the high-quality Axis deer meat.

Maui Nui goes to great lengths to ensure the Axis deer are harvested humanely, and that the meat remains as high quality as possible.

All harvesting is done entirely at night to make the process stress-free for the deer. They are never baited, fenced, penned, or corralled and remain wild until the moment of harvest.

They don’t have sales goals. Their mission is to help restore the Hawaiian islands from the extensive damage done by these deer. Their mission is not about making money. They are driven to maintain and protect the character and sanctity of the Hawaiian islands and culture.

Maui Nui is helping to restore the environment of the Hawaiian islands back to what they once were, and feeding people with high-quality meat at the same time. #winwin
